Macon, Ga. – Wesleyan College women's soccer earned an impressive 3-0 road victory over Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College on Friday, combining a dangerous offensive attack with a standout performance in goal.

The Wolves improved to 2-2 on the season after producing 24 shots, including 17 on goal, while scoring twice in the first half and adding a third late in the match.

Louden Busbee opened the scoring in the 24th minute, finishing an assist from goalkeeper Brooke Hankinson to put Wesleyan ahead 1-0. Just under five minutes later, Skylar Benko doubled the advantage with her first goal of the afternoon, sending the Wolves into halftime with a 2-0 lead.

Benko struck again in the 81st minute to put the match away and complete a two-goal performance. She finished with a team-high eight shots and placed five on goal. Busbee added four shots, three on target, along with her first-half goal.

Caleigh Patton also created consistent pressure, putting all five of her shots on goal. Sydney Hunter, Stephanie Cogan, Piper Tadlock and Lena Hoffman each added shots on target as Wesleyan generated opportunities throughout the match.

Hankinson was outstanding on the defensive end, recording 15 saves to earn the shutout while also contributing the assist on Wesleyan's opening goal. She made nine saves in the first half and six more after halftime to keep ABAC off the scoreboard for the full 90 minutes.

The 3-0 victory gave Wesleyan a strong all-around performance on the road, with the Wolves combining timely finishing, sustained offensive pressure and a clean sheet as they continue their season.
