What an Athletic Scholarship Means at Wesleyan
Coach-awarded: Athletic scholarships are offered at the discretion of our head coaches (and athletics leadership) to student-athletes who meet NAIA eligibility and Wesleyan admissions standards.
Holistic evaluation: Coaches consider athletic ability, team needs, academic profile, and character/fit with Wesleyan’s mission and team culture.
Renewable awards: Scholarships are typically renewable annually based on continued NAIA eligibility, Satisfactory Academic Progress, and adherence to team and College standards.
Part of a total package: Athletic awards may be combined with academic scholarships and need-based aid in accordance with Wesleyan policy and NAIA bylaws. The official award letter will outline your total institutional aid.
