MACON, Ga. - It was senior day at Panoz Field as the Wolves celebrated the players that will be graduating from Wesleyan College at the end of this season

Piper Tadlock.
The Wolves battled through 90 minutes but ultimately fell 3-0 to Point University in conference action.
The Wolves found themselves trailing early but settled into the match and kept the deficit at just one goal through the remainder of the opening half. Wesleyan created several opportunities of its own, with
Piper Tadlock,
Jada Vance and
Louden Busbee all getting shots away before halftime.
Brooke Hankinson was stalwart in goal for the Wolves, finishing the afternoon with 16 saves to keep the Wolves within striking distance. Hankinson made seven stops in the opening half before adding nine more after the break.
Wesleyan continued to battle defensively in the second half, but Point was able to add goals in the 56th and 71st minutes to extend the lead.
Jada Vance recorded Wesleyan's lone shot on goal, while Busbee finished with a team-high two shots.
Caleigh Patton and Tadlock also recorded attempts for the Wolves.
The Wolves will be back in action when the calendar flips as they travel to take on William Carey University in another SSAC match at 5:00pm on October 1st.
