Macon, GA- Wesleyan Volleyball welcomed the Andrew Tigers to campus to open their home schedule for the 2025 season ultimately dropping the match 1 set to 3. The Wolves are still looking for their first win to 0-3 on the season while the Tigers are 2-1.
Wesleyan came out strong to the delight of the rowdy home crowd fending off the Tigers 25-22 in the first set. The wolves hit .310 as a team and charted three aces in the opener. The Tigers took the second set, 25-13 and gained momentum heading into the third set.
Wesleyan battled hard in the third to take a 8-3 lead but the Tigers rallied to victory to notch the set 25-14.
Wesleyan led early in 4th until a five-point run from the Tigers put them in front 9-7, sparked by three aces from the Tigers .The Wolves fought to stay in it, but the Tigers closed out the 4th set 25-21.
