  • Sophomore Jema Bravo had a stellar day at the plate, going 6-for-7 with three runs scored and an RBI. Today's performance bumped her batting average up nearly .040 points to an impressive .375 for the season.
  • Not to be outdone by her twin sister, freshman Victoria Clower hit her first collegiate home run, blasting a 3-run shot out of the park in the fifth inning of Game 2 to pull the Wolves to within one run of the Scots.

QUOTABLE:
""It would have been nice to come away from today with a win, but we really are playing some pretty good softball most of the time,"" remarked Wesleyan head coach Dickey Hightower. ""We had too many strikeouts in the first game, but we bounced back and hit the ball well in the second game and we scored a lot of runs today. Our team is working really hard right now and playing well, and I'm really proud of the effort that we are bringing to each game.""
