Macon, GA- The Wolves soccer team welcomed the Royals of Regent University to Macon, GA ultimately dropping a tightly contested match 2-0. The match was back and forth for the first 44 minutes as both teams played strong defensively. Freshman Keeper Brooke Hankinson continued her excellent start to her Wolves career keeping her team in the match with 11 saves. However, with 45 seconds to go in the half Regent was able to get through the defense and score taking a 1-0 lead into the break. Hankinson continued to impress in the second half with 7 more saves and Junior Piper Tadlock was able to get a shot on goal, but Regent prevailed taking the match 2-0. The loss drops the Wolves to 0-4 on the season, they look to right the ship at home on Saturday against the Eagles of Toccoa Falls.
