Softball Conference Record Improves to 3-3 as Crosby Throws 1 Hitter vs. Agnes Scott

Macon, GA

 

The Wolves totaled 12 hits in the 6 inning mercy rule victory for the first of 2 against conference rival Agnes Scott. While the offense rallied late with multiple hits by Savanna Boyette, Yasnei Llavore, Alana Walker and Tiffani Linville the defense stood out with several diving catches in the outfield as well as a shut down infeild during this error-free game. Doubles were recorded by both Llavore and Chelsea Tussinger. Valerie Clower gets the win on the mound allowing 4 runs on 12 hits, 4 walks and 1 strikeout. Clowers record improves to 4-6.

With another mercy rule victory the Wolves won in walk off fashion on a gap double by Victoria Clower to secure the 8 runs. Shining on the mound was Shelby Crosby allowing only 1 hit and 1 walk while throwing 1 strikout. Clower recorded 3 hits and 3 RBI's on the day, Hannah Allen, Llavore, and Kassidy Hulett also recorded multiple hits during the night cap. Crosby improves her recrod to 2-4 on the mound with the win. 

The Wolves will face conference opponent LaGrange on March 16th at 4 and 6 pm at home.
