The Wolves staged a 5th inning comeback off of a bases clearing double by Yasnei Llavore for their first win of the season. Alana Walker followed up with an RBI double giving her 2 hits in the game as well as 2 RBIS. Hannah Allen and Valerie Clower also had 2 hits. Clower earns the win on the mound giving up 7 hits and 1 walk to improve her record to (1-1). Nicole Gilkeson of Agnes Scott takes the loss giving up 4 runs on 4 hits.
Shelby Crosby got her first win of her career with the Wolves taking the 2nd game allowing 8 hits and 1 walk. Crosby helped herself at the plate with 3 hits and 1 RBI. While the Wolves hitting shined with 9 hits from 5 batters, the defense saved the day with a double play and leaving 6 runners stranded on base. The Wolves continue their season on Saturday February 24th when they travel to Fort Valley State for a non-conference double header. Tiara White suffered the loss for the Scotties allowing 9 hits and 4 walks.
