Macon, GA - Wesleyan College was overpowered by the tenth-ranked Eagles of Emory University in softball action on Tuesday evening. Emory's offense generated 27 hits over the course of the doubleheader, while holding the Wolves to just three hits in their 12-0 and 7-2 losses.

NOTABLES:
- Jema Bravo pounded out two of Wesleyan's three hits on the night, going 2-5 with a run scored and no strikeouts. Tiffani Linville safely reached base as well for the Wolves.
- Despite taking the 7-2 loss, Mellissa Webb pitched a solid seven innings and added seven more strikeouts to her season total while giving up only one walk.
- Emory's Brittany File, the nation's leading pitcher, held the Wolves to one hit while striking out nine and walking one.
