- Tiffani Linville, Jema Bravo, Victoria Clower and Alyssa Flowers each picked up a hit in the win with Linville and Webb adding an RBI.
- Wesleyan's bats quieted in Game 2, but the Wolves stranded seven runners when timely hits might have made the difference in the game's outcome.
QUOTABLE:
""I thought we played two good games tonight,"" Wesleyan head coach Dickey Hightower remarked. ""Mellissa pitched a great first game to pick up another win and Nicole also pitched very well tonight. The difference in the games was we got key hits in the first game that we couldn't seem to get in the second. We are still not hitting the ball very well, but we are playing great defense and getting good pitching. Our team is playing good softball, and overall I thought we had a good day.""
