Macon, GA - With their win tonight over Tennessee Temple, the Wesleyan College softball team recorded its best season in program history with 14 wins. The Wolves won 4-3 in the day's first game but lost a hearbreaker in the nightcap, 6-4 in eight innings.

- Freshman Power: Valerie Clower, playing injured, went 5-for-7 at the plate with 2 RBI and 1 run scored today.
- Winner, Winner: Junior Mellissa Webb picked up her eighth win of the year, surpassing Amy Kipp's record of seven wins in 2007 and setting a single season record for wins for Wesleyan.
- Anyone's Ball Game: This weekend's GSAC Championship should make for some exciting softball. Top-seeded Agnes Scott went 2-2 vs. Wesleyan, earning one of those wins in extra innings. Salem edged Wesleyan out for a 2-1 advantage, with two games decided by two runs or less.
