Macon, GA - The Wesleyan College softball team improved to 6-10 on the season with a sweep of Rust College on Saturday afternoon. The Wolves defeated the Bearcats 11-3 in six innings in Game 1, earning sophomore pitcher Nicole Wilson her first win of the season. They followed that up with a 15-2 victory in five innings with freshman Camillia Carter picking up her first career win.

NOTABLES:
- Wesleyan jumped on the Bearcats early in both games, scoring four runs in the first inning.
- Everyone in the Wolves lineup had a hit in Game 2 and all but one batter had a hit in Game 1.

""It's always good to get two wins, and I'm really glad we were able to give everyone an opportunity to play today,"" stated Wesleyan head coach Dickey Hightower. ""We lacked some intensity during our first game, but I thought we picked up our level of play in the second game, hit the ball well, and played much better. We were able to focus on the things we needed to work on and improve on different things in the field today.""
