Macon, GA - In the team's second doubleheader of the season, Wesleyan managed six runs against Division II member Clark Atlanta University at the Mathews Athletic Complex. The Panthers would sweep the pair of contests, 12-2 and 13-4.
Despite only picking up one hit in the first game of the day, the Pioneers were able to put the ball in play regularly, finding an offensive rhythm that they lacked in their first games of the season. Wesleyan had only two strike outs but stranded eight base runners in the game.
In the night cap, Wesleyan managed seven hits with sophomore Colleen DeGraff and junior Morgan Cramer each going 2-for-3 from the plate. The Pioneers once again left eight runners on base but offensively were the most consistent they have been all season.
The Pioneers wrap up their homestand with a doubleheader against Judson College on Friday afternoon at the Mathews Athletic Complex. First pitch is scheduled for 3:00pm.
