Pioneers Blanked in GSAC Doubleheader

LaGrange, Ga. - Wesleyan College dropped both games of a Great South Athletic Conference doubleheader at LaGrange College on Wednesday night.

The Pioneers were blanked in both games, falling 15-0 and 16-0. Despite the score, first-year head coach Dickey Hightower felt encouraged.

""I was more proud of our effort tonight than I was in our win at Tennessee Temple,"" Hightower said. ""We showed a lot more energy and enthusiasm the whole time.""

The Pioneers return to the field on Saturday when they host Huntingdon College. The GSAC doubleheader will begin at 1:00at the MAC.
