The Wesleyan Wolves lost a tough match tonight at Panoz field after leading at halftime 1-0. Alyssa Key lead the charge this evening with seven shots; two assists; and several defensive plays that kept the Wolves in the game the entire match. Wesleyan would add to their lead in the fifty-second (52nd) minute with a goal off the foot of Amber Mcneal. This goal was quickly answered by the Scotties in the fifty-seventh (57th) minute. A defensive mishap leading to an own goal in the sixty-ninth (69th) minute would tie the game at 2-2. With approximately three minutes left in the game, the Scotties would take the lead and eventually the win 3-2.
The Wolves move to 2-8-1 on the season with a 0-3 Conference record. They look to improve on their season this Saturday on Panoz Field when they face Berea College at noon.
