Cheng Shines on Tennis Senior Day

Saturday, April 8, 2017

Macon, GA - Rebecca Cheng shined on senior day with wins in doubles and singles as Wesleyan fell to Salem 6-3. The senior dropped only six games in both her matches to deliver the Wolves their best result in two years. Laura Harness also won her first collegiate match.

"Today was a tough day for all of us, filled with mixed emotions. Our teams' loss to Salem was disappointing, but there were many individual victories that took place," remarked Wesleyan head coach Alex Kosicki. "One of them being our lone senior, Rebecca, who showed that by hard work and dedication, anything you put your mind to can be accomplished. I continue to have so much pride in this group. I cannot wait to see what we bring tomorrow for our match against Maryville."
