Macon, GA - Third ranked Agnes Scott used experience and depth to knock off Wesleyan on Thursday afternoon, 9-0. Sophomore Taylor Burbage played in her first collegiate match at the No. 6 singles position and won two games over opponent Isabel Zhao.
"In preparation for this weekend's matches, our women competed well against one of the USA South's top teams, Agnes Scott," remarked Wesleyan head coach Alex Kosicki. "Knowing that this was going to be a tough match, we made a point to improve on our consistency and worked to find our rhythm. This is such a great group of women, and I think it is only a matter of time until we make a big splash in our conference."
