Wolves Tennis Falls at Columbia

Thursday, March 16, 2017

Lexington, SC - Following a three week lay off since their last match, the Wesleyan College tennis team fell 9-0 to Columbia College on Thursday afternoon.

"Our women came out playing better tennis today than in any match we've played this year," remarked Wesleyan head coach Alex Kosicki. "Unfortunately, due to the frustrating weather over the course of the past week and Columbia stepping it up in singles, we were unable to keep the momentum we gained in doubles throughout the match. It was still a step in the right direction, and our women have worked incredibly hard to get to this point."
