Macon, GA - Wesleyan College shot 40% from the floor and outrebounded Judson College by 10 boards in a solid 75-66 win over the Eagles at Porter Gym on Wednesday night. Bree Raymond, Justice Thigpen and Taylor Thigpen combined for 56 of the Wolves 75 points.

  • Freshman Bree Raymond scored a career high 22 points to go along with eight rebounds in 40 minutes of action. She was 10-of-18 from the floor but also dished out five assists.
  • Senior Justice Thigpen was two rebounds shy of a triple double, pacing the Wolves offense with 17 points, 10 assists, eight reoubnds, five steals, and a blocked shot.
  • Sophomore Taylor Thigpen also had a big night on offense, scoring 17 points, while Lexie Russell nearly notched another double double for the Wolves with eight points and nine rebounds.

"I thought we did a nice job offensively today attacking the rim and getting out in transition," remarked Wesleyan head coach Nicky DiMarzio. "Justice [Thigpen] was the glue to our team once again as she was attacking the rim and creating for others. Bree [Raymond] and Taylor [Thigpen] did a great job getting out on the break, Lexie [Russell] was a nice post presence, and our shooters knocked down some outside looks tonight. Overall, it was a solid team effort and a much needed win."
