Chareston, SC - Over the weekend, the Wesleyan College IHSA hunt seat team traveled to College of Charleston to close out their fall season. All of the team members put in nice rides, but with large classes and in tough company, there were not many rewards to be had.
Freshman Ashlee Slack led the Wolves with a third place finish in the advanced walk/trot/canter division. Other highlights include riders Anna Latimer and Ashaunti Samms making their debuts in new divisions, advanced walk/trot/canter and novice flat respectively.
The Wolves closed out the fall season with two riders, seniors Caroline Thompson and Ashaunti Samms, qualifying for Hunt Seat Regionals and with two other riders right on the verge of qualification. The Western team also has three riders on the verge of Western Regionals qualification and will return to action at Lander University on January 28.
